Bio

Dr. Syed Saqline is a postdoctoral associate in the Sustainable Energy and Environmental Systems (SEES) Department, part of the Energy Analysis and Environmental Impacts (EAEI) Division at Berkeley Lab. His current research focuses on the advancement of efficient hydrogen storage systems and direct air capture technologies to realize the transition towards clean energy solutions and decarbonization on a global scale.

Dr. Saqline earned a Ph.D. in 2023 from Nanyang Technological University, where his work centered on developing innovative chemical looping technologies for carbon capture and energy conversion. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
